Exclusive Interview with Mister Tourism Cuba 2023
1- Can you introduce yourself and tell us a little about you?
Hello, everyone, my name is Ernesto Lahera Guzman, and I’m 35 years old. I am from Cuba, specifically from a beautiful small town called Baracoa, situated in the Guantanamo province, known as the first village founded in our country. I’m a physician, and currently, I’m continuing my studies in the medical field in the United States. Working out is one of my passions, along with singing and biking. Family and friends are significant to me, and that’s why I try to have quality time with them in my free time. I also love traveling worldwide and learning about different cultures, traditions, and languages.
2) What are your next projects?
My following projects will be finishing my master’s and, in the near future, with the grace of God, opening my own practice where I will be doing what I love the most, which is taking care of my patients.
3) What will be your first action if you are elected “Mister Tourism World 2023”?
If I’m elected “Mister Tourism World 2023,” my first action as the new ambassador of the organization will be to educate people around the world about supporting sustainable tourism and safe travel, respecting biological diversity while encouraging cultural understanding among nations using virtual platforms and social media.
4) Mister Tourism World’s slogan is “Building a Better World”. Do you support a cause?
I support Mister Tourism World’s slogan because in order to provide a prosperous and healthy future to the upcoming generations, we need to preserve and protect what we have today, creating the world we want to live in with our convictions, actions, and safe way of living.
5) What is your favorite song or music video?
My favorite song is ” Me Dediqué a Perderte” by Alejandro Fernández.
6 ) What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is Cordero al chilindrón with arroz congri and tostones, one of the Cuban cuisine delicacies.
7) What is your favorite animal?
My favorite animal is the cat because, despite their beauty, they are very independent, curious, and loyal.
8) What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is Titanic.
9) What is your favorite color?
My favorite color is black.

My favorite book is The Prince and the Pauper, written by American author Mark Twain.

My favorite magazine is The New Yorker.

My favorite celebrity is Jennifer Lopez.
13) What’s your special message to your fans and our fellow readers?
My special message to all the people out there is that we all have a purpose in life, that no matter the obstacles or failures life puts on us, always believe and fight for your dreams because the key to success is perseverance and is not going to be easy but is going to be worth it.
