1-First of all, many congratulations to you , Can you introduce yourself and tell us a little about you?
I was born in Cuba, in a small town. Since a young age I fell in love with the performing arts and joined a dance group called “La Bella Época” that was dedicated to keep alive traditional and ballroom Cuban dances. We toured around the country and participate in many competitions. I also joined a theater group and took singing lessons. In my teen years I moved to Havana to study French Language and Literature, with English as a second language, in the University of Havana, with the purpose of becoming a tour guide. I always felt that through tourism I would be able to connect with people from all around the world and get to show them a little bit of my country and my culture. In 2011 I moved to the USA, and focused on studying. I graduated with a Masters Degree in International Business from the Florida International University. I am someone who is very passionate and hardworking. I believe that you can achieve anything you set your mind to
2- What are your next projects ?
Next projects: I want to keep on working on myself and growing as a person and as a professional. I wanna focus more on my modeling career. I want to build a community online that will allow me to spread the message of how important it is to keep protecting our planet and share tips on how to do so. I will continue working on my website that talks about biodiversity, how to build a better world, and what can we do to preserve it.
3- If you are elected “Mister Tourism world 2022”, what will be your first action ?
If elected Mr Tourism World, I would like to make sure to follow the legacy of the previous winners and make sure that the values of the organization are known. I would like to create a forum where people can interact and come up with ideas to promote sustainable tourism, biodiversity, social responsibility and cultural understanding among nations. I will use my platform to educate people on these subjects and connect with them.
4- Mister Tourism World ’s slogan is “Building a better World”. Do you support a cause?
I joined a and support a non profit organization called Miami Climate Alliance that focuses on finding solutions to our climate crisis. It educates people on these topics and builds urgency around opportunities for systemic social change
5- What is your favorite song or music video ?
I have so many favorite songs. It would be difficult to choose from. But “We are the world” is definitely one of them. As far as music video: Earth Song, from Michael Jackson.
6- What is your favorite food?
I love, love, loooove food. Especially getting to try different types. But I have to admit I am huge pasta fan.
7- What is your favorite animal ?
My favorite animal is the dolphin
8 – What is your favorite movie ?
my favorite movie is Moulin Rouge. I love love stories and musicals. And this particular one is a perfect example and a true work of art
9- What is your favorite color ?
my favorite color is royal blue
10- Name your favorite book ?
My favorite book is: “The little prince”. It shows the power of imagination and how one can always dream for a better world. My favorite quote is “One sees clearly only with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes.”
11- Name your favorite magazine ?
one of my favorite magazines is E – The Environmental Magazine which premiered in print in January 1990 on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the first Earth Day and in the wake of the infamous Exxon Valdez oil spill. E, is an environmental magazine aimed at a readership concerned about the environment, and those who want to know what they can do to make a difference
12- Who is your favorite celebrity ?
my favorite celebrity: Meryl Streep. She is a huge activist who advocates for Natural resource defense and environmental preservation
13- What’s your special message to your fans and our fellow readers?
I want to tell all the readers and followers to always follow their dreams, to never stop trying, that is never too late to achieve your goals. Also to believe in themselves as we are our own enemy and the mind is a very powerful thing. Lastly I want to remind everyone that it is up to us to protect our planet and to practice safe travel, sustainable tourism, and preserve biodiversity. Together we can build a better world.
