Shakti Kumar Shah from the Indian state of Jharkhand was elected the new Rubaru Mr East India at the recently concluded Rubaru Mr India pageant. The event took place on April 30, 2019 at Hotel Sea Princess in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This was the sixteenth edition Rubaru Mr India pageant. The pageant was organized by Rubaru Group. He was awarded by Rubaru Mr India 2018 (First Runner-up), Dilip Patel and Rubaru Miss India Landscapes International 2019, Muskan Rana. Apart from winning the prestigious title, Shakti also won special award for Mr Dazzling Smile at the said annual pageant for men.
Shakti belongs to Koderma city in the Indian state of Jharkhand. He is 27 years old and is currently based in the city of Pune. He stands 6 ft and 1 inch tall and has black hair and black eyes. This very charming young man hailing from the eastern part of India holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and technology and is an engineer and model by profession. Standing 6 ft and 1 inch tall, Shakti was one of the tallest candidates at this’s year Mr India pageant. At the pageant, he stole the limelight with his very charming and radiant smile and conventional Indian looks. His very strong and vigorous personality and zestful nature were two of his greatest strengths. His exuberance, vivacity, dashing looks and very bright and ebullient smile helped win the title and made him the perfect choice for Mr Dazzling Smile 2019 special award. This very tall hombre is also an ardent traveller and loves to explore new places. Other than this, he likes to cook, sing, play football and spend time with children in orphanages. He is surely a perfect combination of benevolence, compassion and great looks.
This year 38 candidates competed for the title of Rubaru Mr India 2019. At the pageant, the candidates were judged on various parameters like confidence, personality, looks, fitness, nature, communication skills, on and off stage presentation, on and off camera presentation, runway skills and many more. The candidates took part in different segments of the pageant that included individual interviews, formal wear round, ethnic wear round and health and fitness round. The final judgement was made taking under consideration the performances of the candidates during all these preliminary events and the overall performance of each candidate during and prior to the finale.
Rubaru Mr India pageant is regarded is India’s biggest and longest running annual pageant for men. The pageant was established by Sandeep Kumar, the founder and president of Rubaru Group in the year 2004. Pankaj Kharbanda from Mumbai is the current vice president of the pageant. Rubaru Mr India pageant holds the record of being associated with maximum of international modelling organizations and pageants in India. Since the pageant’s inception in the year 2004, it has sent India’s representatives to more than 15 different international modelling competitions for men across the globe.
