Rahul Rametri hailing from Panaji, the capital of the Indian state of Goa was adjudged the first winner of Mr Goa competition concluded on November 17, 2018 at the Avenue in Calangute, Goa. At the same event, Abrar Naik and Tauseef Gracias were declared first and second runners up respectively. The competition was organized by Goa’s biggest media organization, The Neutral View in association with Senor NX – Bespoke Suits. Winning the Mr Goa title also provided Rahul direct entry to the finals of the India’s biggest pageant and model search contest for men, the annual Rubaru Mister India 2019 competition slated to take place later this year (2019).
Rahul Rametri is the very first winner of Mr Goa contest. He is a fitness trainer and model by profession. This very good-looking 23-year old gentleman holds a degree in health and physical education from Don Bosco College, Panaji. He stands 5 feet and 11 inches tall and has black hair and black eyes. At the pageant, he got noticed for his extremely well-toned and tall physique and his very well chiselled and charming face with perfectly shaped-jawline and uplifted cheekbones. He is one of the most handsome men hailing from Goa.

Prior to the grand finale of the event, auditions were held all across the state of Goa. 20 most deserving and talented men were shortlisted at these auditions. These shortlisted candidates then went through a very rigorous training and grooming process for a week. At the pageant, the candidates walked down the runway in four rounds that included the casual wear segment and introduction round where the candidates walked down the ramp wearing The Neutral View Casual T’s; up next was the physique and fitness round after that was the traditional wear segment of the contest in which the candidates paraded in traditional outfits by Senor NX and Shweta Sequeira and the final round was formal wear round in which the candidates added more sparkle to the already blinding starlight wearing exquisite creations by designers, Senor NX, Shewta Sequeria and Michael Bailey.
This prestigious Goa’s top model hunt event was hosted by International Celebrity Master of Celebrations (EMCEE) Desmond Oliveira. This very glitzy and glamorous show was choreographed by Newton Dias and Rahila Khan. Samiksha Karmalkar Harji was the hair and make over partner for this Goan fashion extravaganza. The very important and crucial task of electing the event’s winner was given to some of the well-known people from the fashion and showbiz industry. They were,

- Model and Rubaru Mister India Model International 2018, Dalton Dsouza.
- Editor in Chief of La Moda International, Baljeet Ohlan.
- International Cosmetologist, Jayshree Manchanda.
- Model, actor and Rubaru Mister India International 2018, Balaji Murugadoss.
The event’s winners were felicitated and crowned by the directors of The Neutral View Pvt. Ltd. Priya Salgotra and Uttam Kumar. The vice-president of Rubaru Group, the parent organization of Rubaru Mister India and Rubaru Miss India Elite contest, Pankaj Kharbanda also attended this extravagant fashion and model search event. At the same evening, The Neutral View’s monthly fashion and lifestyle magazine, TNV – The Neutral View Magazine was also launched by the directors of the organization, Priya Salgotra and Uttam Kumar and Rubaru Group’s vice-president, Pankaj Kharbanda
Rahul will now compete at the Rubaru Mister India 2019 competition. The reigning Rubaru Mister India Model International, Dalton Dsouza is also from Goa. He won the title at the grand finale of Rubaru Mister India 2018 contest held on March 10, 2018 at Las Olas resort in Baga Goa.
The Rubaru Mister India competition is India’s biggest and oldest surviving annual pageant and modelling competition for men. It is run by Rubaru Group base in the Indian state of Haryana, headed by its president Sandeep Kumar. The Rubaru Mister India competition holds the record of being associated with the maximum number of international pageants and modelling competitions for men in India. The winner and top placers of the pageant represent India at the most prestigious international male pageants that include Mister International, Mister Model Worldwide, Mister Model International, Mister National Universe, Mister United Continents and Mister Eco International.
